How HBM developed a static design concept into an interactive animation.

While working as a consultant for a London based design agency charged with the design and development of the Mission 44 launch website, Hebden Bridge Media were able to take a static design with a description of how it should be made interactive and turn it into an animation using JavaScript and Canvas.
The initial brief was to simply animate the nodes, make them clickable with a popup to show the information about each pillar. HBM went a step further and added interaction between the mouse and the canvas, drawing lines between the mouse pointer and nearby nodes in the animation.
Progression
Through partnerships and joint initiatives, we support the development of better pathways for underrepresented young people across all aspects of society. Providing them opportunities to achieve and thrive, with a focus on those most at risk of being left behind.

Representation
Through evidence-based research, we shine a spotlight on the experiences of underrepresented young people and, through targeted youth programmes, support their access to and progress in spaces, such as education and careers, that traditionally have poor levels of diversity.

Empowerment
Work with youth-led organisations to support initiatives that help to make the voices of underrepresented young people heard, as well as influence decision-making and take action on social causes they are passionate about
